Sulimyr 34 is a handmade watch (apart from movement and strap) manufactured in my own workshop, in Olstorp, Sweden. It is a smaller version of the Sulimyr 42.
The uncluttered aluminium dial with its twelve through-holes has become somewhat of a Levenaig trademark as it beautifully contrasts the brass hands whose shape resembles manometer hands. The case’s glass back offers a good view of the mechanical movement.
The watch (including strap, manual and certificate of authenticity) comes in a handmade wooden box.
Since Levenaig Watches manufactures both serial and custom watches, you are free to suggest design changes. Such design modifications may however affect the price.

The Design
Inspired by 1920s maritime equipment, the Sulimyr 34 features materials commonly used in shipbuilding. I wanted its appearance to be clean, with a focus on functionality. The dial’s circular see-through holes lend the watch an overall friendly and modest attitude while still attracting attention.
Rather than machining the case out of a solid piece of bronze, I chose a procedure where the lugs are soldered to the main body, leaving visible solder joints, further underlining that this is a handmade watch.
These days, most of us are surrounded by incredible amounts of information every day, which is one of the reasons why I decided to keep the dial rather clean and only let it show minutes and hours. Has anybody ever been late due to the lack of a second hand? Probably not.
